Lizette Snorgaard Spring/Summer 2010

In the conceptual collection for S/S 10, Lizette Snorgaard has found inspiration in still pictures from the Jesus Franco film 'Vampyros Lesbos' from 1971, anerotic horror tale about a vixen vampiress who seduces and kills women in order to quench her insatiable thirst for female blood. Lizette has been playing with the idea of what the beautiful lead-actress Miranda Soledad would be wearing if the film had been shot today, and the colour palette shows an appreciationfor the movie's soft and sensual 70s colours. This can be seen in the almost flesh-like pinks and in scarlett reds that play against black nuances.

In addition, there are a number of delicate dresses with sharply cut sihuettes, and eye-catching dresses with capes. Then there are the small, seductive cape jackets that radiate a vampiric, feminine, and positively predatory energy.Ultimately, the S/S 2010 collection draws blood from the sensual and animated universe of 'Vampyros Lesbos' but
what brings the new collection into the 21st century, is Lizette's signature ultra-feminine and minimalistic, Scandinavian aesthetic.
